Since returning from the disabled list, Indians DH Travis (Pronk) Hafner is hitting .355 (11-for-31) with two doubles, three homers and nine RBI in 11 games.

He has hit in seven straight games, going 9-for-20 (.450) with two homers and eight RBI over that stretch. He extended the streak with a pinch-hit single Sunday in Chicago.

Hafner had offseason surgery on his right shoulder and missed time in May with soreness in the area. He is gradually building up strength, but has yet to play three consecutive games. The belief is that by lessening his workload now, he will be strong enough to play every day in the second half of the season.
