Travis Hafner drove in three runs with three hits for the Columbus Clippers in a 6-4 win at Buffalo in a Triple-A International League game on Thursday.

Hafner is hitting .412 (7-for-17) with a double and three RBI in four games on an injury rehab assignment.

The veteran missed much of the 2008 season with a sore shoulder that required surgery in October. He opened 2009 back in the cleanup spot in Cleveland's lineup and batted .270 (17-for-63) with five doubles, four homers and eight RBI in 17 games before telling trainers he had soreness in his shoulder.

Hafner went on the disabled list April 29, joined Columbus earlier this week, and the Indians hope he can rejoin them next week.
